Why Private Pay?

1. Setting my own rates allows me to stay focused on fewer clients and provide the most meaningful and personalized care, including integrating yoga and alternative practices.
2. Insurance companies require “medical necessity” and I focus on the wellness not illness model of healing.
3. Often times, mental health benefits are not covered (fully) by insurance and clients end up with a co-pay or are limited in the type and frequency of visits.

What are your options?

1. I offer sliding scale. I am happy to discuss rates in order to find a price range that is sustainable for both of us.
2. I can provide monthly “Superbills” or “Receipts of Service” for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance for more information.
3. If it is important for you to use insurance, I understand. I am happy to help you find a provider who has a similar approach.
